Terms of Service
Last updated November 5, 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and Suddenly Dawn, LLC ("we," "us"), the company that runs MightDrop. By using mightdrop.com you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the service. Our Privacy Policy covers what we do with your data and is part of these terms.
What MightDrop does
You give us a product link and the price you'd like to pay. We check the store's price on a schedule (currently every 15 minutes on the free plan) and let you know when it reaches your number. That's the whole service.
We don't sell anything. When you buy something, you're buying it from the store, on the store's terms, at whatever price the store charges at checkout. We're not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any store we track, and store names and logos belong to their owners.
What we can't promise
Prices come from the stores, and stores change their sites, block requests, run out of stock, and show different prices to different people. So checks sometimes fail, prices we show can be wrong or out of date, and an alert can arrive late or not at all. A price in our alert may not be the price you get at checkout, and warehouse prices can differ from what a store's website or app shows.
Don't rely on MightDrop for anything where a missed or wrong alert would cost you more than you're willing to lose. Always check the price at the store before you buy.
Your account
You need to be at least 13 to use MightDrop, and at least 18 (or the age of majority where you live) to buy a paid plan. Your account is tied to an email address you control. Keep access to that inbox and any password you set to yourself, since anyone who can open our sign-in emails can get into your account. You're responsible for what happens in your account. If you think someone else got in, email us.
Using it fairly
Please don't:
- Use bots, scripts, or other automated means to create accounts or items, or to get around the person check, rate limits, or plan limits.
- Scrape, copy, or resell MightDrop or the data on it.
- Try to break into, overload, or interfere with the service or anyone else's account.
- Use MightDrop to break the law or anyone else's terms, including the stores'.
- Put anything illegal, abusive, or someone else's private information in item notes or anywhere else on the site.
We can limit, pause, or remove items or accounts that break these rules, or that put the service or other people at risk, without warning.
Free and paid plans
The free plan lets you watch a limited number of items at a time. We can change what the free plan includes, and we'll tell you before a change affects items you're already watching.
If we offer a paid plan and you buy it, it renews automatically every month or year (whichever you picked) and your card is charged at the start of each period until you cancel. Payments are handled by Stripe. You can cancel anytime from the Billing page, and the plan stays active until the end of the period you already paid for. We don't refund partial periods unless the law requires it. If we change the price of a plan you're on, we'll email you at least 30 days before the new price applies, and you can cancel before then. Prices don't include taxes, which may be added where they apply.
Emails and notifications
By tracking an item, you agree to get price-drop emails about it, along with emails about your account like sign-in links and verification codes. Every price-drop email has a link to stop watching that item. Account emails stop when you delete your account. If you turn on push notifications, you can turn them off in your browser settings whenever you want.
Our stuff
MightDrop's name, logo, design, code, and copy belong to Suddenly Dawn, LLC. These terms let you use the service for your own personal, non-commercial use, and nothing more. If you send us feedback or ideas, we can use them without owing you anything.
You keep whatever is yours in what you give us (your notes, for example). You give us permission to store and use it to run the service for you.
Ending things
You can stop using MightDrop anytime. To delete your account, cancel any paid plan first, then email hello@mightdrop.com. We can suspend or close your account if you break these terms, and we can change or shut down all or part of the service. If we shut it down entirely, we'll give you reasonable notice and refund any unused part of a paid plan. The sections on guarantees, liability, our stuff, and disputes keep applying after your account is closed.
Disclaimer
MightDrop is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We don't warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, that prices or alerts will be accurate or timely, or that you'll get any particular price.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Suddenly Dawn, LLC and its owners, employees, and contractors won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost savings, missed deals, or lost data, arising out of or related to MightDrop or these terms, even if we were told they were possible. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or related to MightDrop or these terms is limited to the greater of $50 or the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Some places don't allow some of these limits, so they may not all apply to you.
Indemnity
If you misuse MightDrop or break these terms and someone brings a claim against us because of it, you agree to cover our reasonable costs of dealing with that claim, including lawyers' fees.
Disputes
If something goes wrong, email hello@mightdrop.com first. Most problems get sorted out that way. If they don't, these terms are governed by the laws of the State of [STATE], without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, and any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in [STATE]. You and we both agree to those courts' jurisdiction.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. When we do, we'll change the date at the top, and if the change is significant we'll email you before it takes effect. Using MightDrop after a change takes effect means you accept the new terms.
The rest
These terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us about MightDrop. If a court finds part of them unenforceable, the rest still applies. If we don't enforce something right away, we haven't given up the right to enforce it later. You can't transfer these terms to someone else; we can transfer them as part of a sale or reorganization of the business.
